I hate trends.  Trends to me are the same thing as the electronic board at a roulette table.  It only tells you the history, but it doesn't improve or change the odds of where the next result will be, the odds are still the same as before.

I live and breathe Football and Baseball.  Football is my favorite sport but baseball is a very close second.  Basketball is my off-season for sports, where I simply watch it to pass the time til the baseball season is back.  I enjoy Hockey, but I do not know much about it at all.

A big part of my handicapping has to do with line movements.  I believe line movements are very telling, they can almost tell you a story about the game and the situation.  I'm not saying I know how to decrypt line movements, but I know how to avoid some losers by seeing certain line moves.  Using this same theory, I would also say I am a contrarian type of handicapper in that sense as well since at times I will jump on games where I feel the line is overreacting.

Last but not least, I do pay attention to other handicappers/services and I will follow others who I believe are on hot streaks as well as fade cold streaks.
