The Knicks are certainly not short on star power w/ Lin madness in full effect, and momentum on there side I'm not buying into the hype ... I compare them with the Denver Broncos and mad huge money betting against them against the better teams ...The defending champs spent the offseason tweaking Dirk Nowitzki's supporting cast and I like them Big here today , the better team is Dallas and I'm putting my loot on them w/ the money line and the baskett ... Good Luck !!! Up over $9 K and 65% on Basketball let's keep it going
No doubt about it - this will be the greatest game in the history of the NBA. ESPN has a "Countdown to Knicks-Mavericks" clock going on right now. The Knicks are now the greatest team to ever step foot on the hardwood, and Jeremy Lin should displace Michael Jordon, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Jerry West and be declared the greatest player in the universe. LMAO
No doubt Knicks are the best 16-16 team in the NBA. Seriously. You guys gotta quit looking at the Knicks' performance based on the entire season. The first 24 games of the season, the Knicks were focused on Carmelo and Amare as their two stars and they showed the entire league just how discombobulated they can be. There was no leadership, no order, no control, no consistency.
When the Knicks "discovered" Jeremy Lin, it literally transformed their entire team. As handicappers, we need to evaluate the Knicks based on their performance since Jeremy Lin took leadership of running the floor as their starting point guard. Based on that, the Knicks are 7-1 this season under Jeremy Lin.
To handicap the Knicks based on their performance for the full 32 games they played this season is essentially the same as handicapping the Clippers based on their performance from prior season, while completely ignoring Chris Paul's presence on the team.
That is all very true the Knicks are a different team. This new team has been on a 8-1 run with Lin but only beat two teams with a winning record on that run, plus five of those nine teams don't have more than 10 wins and five of those nine teams are in last place or tied for last place in there divisions. I just need more time to really buy the Knicks being a great NBA team or even a playoff team in the east. But New York has covered 7 of those 9 games with Lin, and you what they say "good teams win but great teams cover."
I will give them there. Respect , they are a decent team that is believing in them selfs , they got me good twice now,, time to back off em or ride the wave...
