Max payout request from online bookmakers

I opened an account with 5dimes.com last December and I just found out that I can only request a maximum payout of 3k, free of charge only if no payouts were requested withing 30 days. Otherwise the following charges apply: $1,000 : $40    $2,000: $60     $3,000: $80

This is my first payout request from 5dimes and my request was denied because they're telling me that the first payout should be done via Western Union or Moneygram. Payout limit for Western Union is $2500 and $990 for Moneygram. Naturally I selected Western Union, but after 30 minutes, customer service told me that Western Union payouts are already out and it's only 9:00 am. They're pushing me to take the $990 instead or wait the next day and call them back again to make a similar payout request.

The biggest payout I have requested from bookmaker.com (now bookmaker.eu) was 15k. Does anyone know a much better online bookie which can pay more and without much hassles? I can't do bookmaker.eu anymore and don't ask why. Thanks.

Classic stall tactics.  While they will eventually give you your money if it comes to it, they intentionally make the process as slow as possible in hopes that you'll get impatient, gamble with that money while you're waiting, and lose it.

But that's not a 5Dimes thing, that's an EVERY book thing.

5dimes is one of the recommended books by sportsbookreview.com. I had a problem with a payout that took more than 6 months, few years ago and I forgot what book it was and it was SBR who helped me get my money from that site.

5Dimes is an awesome book IMO - probably the best book still open to certain countries.  Unfortunately, stalling is simply a standard industry procedure.  That being said, I've heard that they are pretty reasonable.

Maybe try shooting them an email basically saying "Hey, I know you are stalling, and I don't mind that your company does that, but it's not going to work with me.  Please send me my full amount owed.  I will not place another wager until my full request has been received, and if it's not all received by [some date] I will take my business elsewhere. Thanks."

That's why illegal bookies are still getting a lot of action.  It's convenient to place bets online, but getting your money out is a nightmare.  Everybody I know that bets online have problems getting their money.

Pinnacle allows one free withdrawl, one per month. I think it's $30 if you want process a second one, within a calender month. No maximum, I've never head of that before.

Remember, if you're in the U.S. a lot of these books have to jump through a few hoops in order to find ways to get your payouts and deposits fulfilled without having to deal with U.S. restrictions. I've dealt with multiple books that have a certain "payout time" for western union and moneygram payments. Usually it only means that I have to call back the next day or 2 days later to get my Western Union or Moneygram order fulfilled. Considering that once they release the payment I can pick it up in minutes, I don't see that as too much of a hassle to wait. Also Western Union and Moneygram have certain limits on how much you are allowed to send in one payment so in many instances its not the book that is limiting you but its the processor.

I don't consider what 5dimes is doing here a stall tactic unless this lasts for more than a week. All they are asking you is to call back the next day.

To get back to your original question, the only way you will get more than $3,000 payout at most books would be to opt for a wire transfer to your bank, which some books offer. You would have to give them your bank info and routing number and then they would do a wire transfer which I believe takes 3-7 business days. I know of multiple books where this is possible, most of them are graded a step below 5dimes. It depends on what the "hassle" is for you. Do you need your money fast or would you just like to get it all in a lump sum? Being in the U.S. I feel like its a given that you need to be prepared ahead of time in order to receive large payouts given all the restrictions on money transfers.

I don't know if Patrick can edit the original post, but I think it's important to not mention the said payment processors in any forum.  I would hate to have that option eventually eliminated from the online books payment options to US customers.

@BetTheClock. Thats exactly what I got as a response.

"Unfortunately due to US legislations those are the options and well the fees are established by the agencies that we are able to deal with and they establish those themselves and we need to restrict the flow of money we hope you comprehend that."

  12. 5dimes is a great book and they always pay just give them time to make it right. Plus they have the absolute best lines IMO.

$2,500 Payout being processed with a $110 transaction fee subtracted from my account. Price too steep for a small payout. How often can you request for a payout from 5dimes? Im starting to think of just getting all my money and stick with the local bookies.

  16. Jonathan Ma Says:

According to 5Dimes policy, they give you one free payone each month, afterwards, each additional payout within that 30 days would incur the fee.

  17. NickB Says:

Thats correct JM. What it failed to clarify is they charge you also for your first withdrawal. Mine costs $110 for a $2500 payout. I still have 13k left in my account and I dont think I can wait 30 days just to make my second withdrawal. I will have to pay their hefty fees. Again these are 5dimes payout fees:

    $40 for $1,000

    $60 for $2,000

$80 for their max limit of $3,000 payout

Not to mention, you have to pay for money transfer fees when you fund your account. When I was with bookmaker.com, they used to pay for funding fees and their max withdrawal then was 15k for a $40 courier fee.
