BY POSTING ON OUR FORUMS YOU ARE AGREEING TO FOLLOW THESE RULES. These forum rules apply to all sections of the Line.com forums. If you break any of the rules your post or thread may be deleted, your ability to post may be removed either temporarily or permanently, or you may be altogether banned. We understand that this may seem like a harsh approach to some, but we take great pride in the professionalism and level of quality of our forum, and must take measures to keep that level high.
1. DO NOT POST PICK THREADS IN THE FORUM. We understand that posting pick threads is extremely common in other sports betting forums. Not here. We spent a lot of time developing the Fantasy Sportsbook. Use it. Note: Picks accompanied by significant WELL WRITTEN write-ups are exempt from this rule. What we don't want is threads like "I'm on the Giants and Packers today. Good luck." that provide no value to the forum. Copying and pasting trends from other websites does not count as a write-up.
2. USE PUNCTUATION - TRY YOUR BEST WITH GRAMMAR - PROOFREAD. This is not a high school English class. We do not care if your grammar or spelling is perfect, or even close to perfect. But we do ask that your posts be comprehensible. This is not the place to use abbreviations and slang words; it's a forum not a text message. Proper capitalization, punctuation and spelling go a long way. Separating your post into paragraphs (if applicable) is also hugely appreciated. If you wouldn't get at least a B- from a 3rd grade English teacher, don't post it.
3. DEBATES ARE WELCOMED. ATTACKS ARE NOT. Nobody is right 100% of the time. For this reason, we highly encourage constructive criticism. But we recognize a distinct difference between constructive criticism and slander. Slander will not be tolerated.
4. KEEP THE THREADS RELEVANT. Some conversations naturally progress away from the original topic. That's no problem. But posting a comment that has absolutely nothing to do with the thread will result in a deleted post.
5. POST IN THE CORRECT SECTION. If you have a technical or support issue, post it in the support section. If you are giving us a write-up for an NBA game, post it in the Basketball section. You get the idea.
6. NO "TOUTING". If you are one of the best, your VERIFIED record will prove it.
7. DO NOT REPORT GRADING ERRORS OR UNGRADED GAMES. Grading errors may be reported by visiting that game's official page and clicking the "Report a Grading Error" link. Because this is so convenient (and a much faster way of addressing the issue), any posts made about grading errors will be deleted. Any posts notifying us of games that have yet to be graded will also be deleted; we already know which games are not yet graded, and are working as swiftly as possible to get through the queue.
8. DO NOT POST DUPLICATE CONTENT. If an article exists elsewhere on the web then please do not post it here, even if you are the copyright owner.
9. USE YOUR HEAD. I've listed rules that curb some of our most common problems, but this does not mean that you can do anything that isn't specifically banned on this list. In general, if you think something is wrong then it probably is. No spamming, trolling, bumping, excessive profanity, nudity, etc.
