This is a vote on whether you agree teasers and 2 team parlays should be available.

I gotta do all in my power to make this happen and I am sure others would be okay with the above wager types.

    I vote YES

Parlays would be incredibly easy to add.  Maybe this is me being stubborn, but I STILL don't see ANY benefit of having parlays even after all the arguments for them.

I can see the rare case where teasers might be helpful (crossing key lines in NFL for example), but teasers would be pretty damn difficult to add, though certainly not impossible.

Nooooo!  But if you did, create a parlay section of the forum.  The parlay experts can post there, to show there parlay successes or not.  But to intertwine into the records, no freakin way.

We should have a way to log our selections for the Maryland "freaking" Lottery.  See how many lottery pickers we have, then we can have a penny pitching contest off of Patrick's ass as the closer.

How do you figure 2 team parlays would screw everything up?

it should be limited to 3, and they wouldn't screw things up IMO.

Why not 4, open spots, no open spots, are pushes reduced, are pushes losses.

who would like to make a case against me on why 2 team parlays and/or teasers with payouts in the range of +150   to    -150 would be anything but beneficial to the tracking of a handicapper on this website? In fact to make things more transparent there can be another tab added like there is for every sport called "parlays" on a person's profile where you can see the record and units for the parlay to see how a handicapper has done with those selections

2-3 would be quite enough to keep things in check.

A push is a push is a push is a push. A push would be cancelled out/voided/goodbye/no soup for youed out of the parlay.

If you didn't limit the max payout (which CashMagician has smartly pointed out a few times) then parlays would screw the rankings up incredibly.

Imagine somebody betting 2-3 straight bets a day and grinding out a very impressive 50 units over the course of two months.  Then imagine somebody putting 5 units on a parlay which paid 10/1 and hitting.  Those two users now have the same profit.

if a team in a 2-team parlay pushes, its a loss.  A team that pushes in a 3-team parlay pushes, it is graded as a 2-team parlay.  This is generally how it works.  If it is extremely difficult to do, then don't do it, but parlays can have value.  Just because most people don't use parlays properly, doesn't mean there's no value in them.

Post parlays on a piece of paper, stick it in a bottle, place it in the closest ocean, then if discovered, your losing record will be known to all. LOL

That's right Cash and Patrick. Limits would need to be set. You could always set a "max win",so no matter what the parlay pays out, on here it only pays out the max at best.

@Patrick, this is relatively similar to simply playing a massive underdog, at +1000 or higher, which we already do.

I also understand the prevailing thought that some people have that you cannot make profit long term with parlays and teasers. If that is the case, that will clearly be evident in the tracking record over time and if clients feel the parlays/teasers are not good investments they do not have to do them. In the same vein, handicappers will see how they have performed and can access for themselves if it is worth continuing doing them

lets not get into 3 team parlays, at least not at this point in time.

For now 2 team parlays  where push on one bet is a loss.  (  I see value in tennis and MMA parlays where there are no pushes)
